SYNOPSIS
After a long night at the bar, a small town bartender and her long-time customer are convinced to help a pleading mother. They embark on a mission to help her two children. In the process they confront their fears about the mysterious evil town of Salem's Lot.

Short Film Adaptation
One for the road, is a short film adaptation based on the short story by Stephen King included in his popular book Night Shift.
The adaptation made by screenwriter Carmen Smith, fits more contemporary and diverse times and gives us another angle of the original book.
The short film will be directed by Award Winner* director Viktor Hernandez.

This term is used by Stephen King because he will allow you to use his short stories and make film adaptations for experimental and educational purposes and you only have to pay a dollar for the rights. ( Some restrictions apply)

This is a No Budget production where all we have is the excitement, the talent and the desire to create a good film.
We are thankful to have all these talented people on board.
This short film will be submitted to film festivals nationwide and around the world and later shared with everyone through YouTube and Vimeo and other free exhibition platforms for a limited time.

The pre-production started in july 2017 and in September 2017 the first few scenes were filmed.
​
Principal photography has been completed as of April 2018. The film was shot in North Carolina , in Archdale, Trinity and surrounding areas.
